Three dimensional (3D) printing is an important type of additive manufacturing for biomaterials and a method developed at the FAU Institute of Biomaterials for the printing of ADA-Gel hydrogels [1]. In this work a hydrogel from alginate-dialdehyde and extra cellular matrix components is analyzed in terms of its suitability for 3D bioprinting. This project is carried out in collaboration with the Max Schaldach-Stiftungsprofessur für Biomedizinische Technik in Erlangen.
